Equipped with the right applications, a computer can be of great help in virtually any domain of activity. When it comes to designing and precision, no other tool is as accurate as a computer. Moreover, specialized applications such as AutoCAD give you the possibility to design nearly anything ranging from art, to complex mechanical parts or even buildings.
Suitable for business environments and experienced users
After a decent amount of time spent installing the application on your system, you are ready to fire it up. Thanks to the office suite like interface, all of its features are cleverly organized in categories. At a first look, it looks easy enough to use, but the abundance of features it comes equipped with leaves room for second thoughts.
Create 2D and 3D objects
You can make use of basic geometrical shapes to define your objects, as well as draw custom ones. Needless to say that you can take advantage of a multitude of tools that aim to enhance precision. A grid can be enabled so that you can easily snap elements, as well as adding anchor points to fully customize shapes.
With a little imagination and patience on your behalf, nearly anything can be achieved. Available tools allow you to create 3D objects from scratch and have them fully enhanced with high-quality textures. A powerful navigation pane is put at your disposal so that you can carefully position the camera to get a clearer view of the area of interest.
Various export possibilities
Similar to a modern web browser, each project is displayed in its own tab. This comes in handy, especially for comparison views. Moreover, layouts and layers also play important roles, as it makes objects handling a little easier.
Sine the application is not the easiest to carry around, requiring a slightly sophisticated machine to properly run, there are several export options put at your disposal so that the projects itself can be moved around.
Aside from the application specific format, you can save as an image file of multiple types, PDF, FBX and a few more. Additionally, it can be sent via email, directly printed out on a sheet of paper, or even sent to a 3D printing service, if available.
To end with
All in all, AutoCAD remains one of the top applications used by professionals to achieve great precision with projects of nearly any type. It encourages usage with incredible offers for student licenses so you get acquainted with its abundance of features early on. A lot can be said about what it can and can't do, but the true surprise lies in discovering it step-by-step.

AutoCAD Crack+ [32|64bit]

Earlier this year, Autodesk acquired the Israeli developer Atalantia, which had previously acquired the Czech developer Fics in April 2014. In late June 2015, Autodesk announced it was integrating Atalantia’s technology into AutoCAD.

A new note template with unified attributes

Autodesk added a new note template to AutoCAD with “unified attributes” that integrates the ability to use comment, title, tag, and tag value attributes on related objects. Objects that have the same attribute get a drop-down menu to choose from instead of a separate panel to access the attribute.

Improved gridless grids

In earlier versions of AutoCAD, when you set the offset of an object from the upper or lower edge of the paper, you have to enter a number or add a negative number. In AutoCAD 2014, you can use grids to set the offset instead.

Drawing parallel lines, miter points, and arcs

In AutoCAD 2014, you can draw straight lines that intersect with a point at right angles, intersect an arc of a circle at a radius, and create a closed curve (sector) on a circle.

The new Method of Operation dialog box

The new Method of Operation dialog box allows you to set AutoCAD commands using attributes from other objects. For example, you can set a command with an attribute value of the x and y coordinates for the intersection of two lines. This attribute is then saved and used to execute the command when the lines intersect.

Improved navigation in ribbon groups

In AutoCAD 2014, you can search the ribbon in a ribbon group to display subgroups. In earlier versions, you had to search for the group name in the ribbon.

Project Database

In AutoCAD 2014, you can open and save drawings to your project database from a single interface. You can also open drawings and see the settings of the project database from the database window.

Drawing enhancements

In AutoCAD 2014, you can use the new 3D Extrude command to extrude an area from one object, and apply settings to the new object. In earlier versions, you had to extrude from the end of an object, and apply settings to a new object.

Raster image processing
Autodesk acquired MapInfo in 2012. As of January 2013, MapInfo is based on version 11 of MapInfo Professional and the Geospatial Solutions Platform; its software is widely used in the mapping industry.

3D/SketchUp CAD modelling and design software
Autodesk acquired Autodesk 3ds Max in October 2011, which allowed Autodesk to extend its SketchUp CAD product line with 3D modelling capabilities. Autodesk 3ds Max is an animation, editing and authoring application. Autodesk 3ds Max is also integrated with the Autodesk Animation system. Autodesk 3ds Max is used for developing 3D models for video games, movie visual effects, architectural and engineering visualizations, and industrial design and prototyping.

Virtual Reality

Autodesk VRED, VRED Scene Collection, and Autodesk Autodesk Stingray were Autodesk’s joint venture with Sony in developing the virtual reality system. The system was first released for the PlayStation 3 in 2013 and then for the Xbox 360 in 2015. The system allowed the viewer to interact with physical models in virtual reality and then share the experience with others using a screen-based game console. The VRED software is also built into Autodesk Studio, a game engine for developing, editing and publishing VR games.

Licensing controversy
In May 2007, Autodesk offered to sell its technical publishing division to rival Corel, following a series of patent lawsuits and counter-lawsuits between the two companies. Autodesk subsequently acquired Corel’s technical division for US$1.35 billion. However, the acquisition was not well received by the 3D CAD industry, with Autodesk facing criticism for acquiring the division. In November 2011, Autodesk agreed to pay CAD software developer Umbra Technology $31.2 million to settle a breach of contract lawsuit and other claims over the 2007 acquisition of Corel’s technical publishing division. The claims against Autodesk included allegations that the company had misled vendors who chose to purchase technical publishing services from Corel and that the company had failed to properly license its existing software.

Autodesk announced in January 2012 that it had agreed to acquire Autodesk Map Design, a provider of geographic information systems (GIS) software. Autodesk stated it planned to integrate Map Design with its other mapping products. In June 2012, Autodesk acquired

Barely one month after the triumphant launch of its two new flagship smartphones, Nokia has decided to discontinue its smartphones in India. In a blog post, the Finnish company said that it had stopped selling its smartphones in India and would no longer maintain or service its devices. The move is apparently part of Nokia’s strategy to cut costs and focus its resources and sales on the smartphones that have been selling well. According to a report in Tech2, Nokia has already sold off many of its smartphones in India.

“As a result of our products not meeting the consumer demand in India, Nokia has decided to discontinue the sale of our products in the country and to discontinue its maintenance and service activities there,” Nokia said.

“We have offered to the market in India to transfer the rights of Nokia’s future mobile devices, including handsets, feature phones and e-tablets, to the company that will take over those operations. Our objective is that the Nokia brand will remain as a trusted, global brand, with its products being sold at authorized Nokia dealers,” the statement said.

A report by Tech2 cites Nokia as saying that the move was a part of its plan to focus on smartphones. “Our focus remains on smartphones and we expect to see strong growth of Nokia smartphones in India in coming years,” the company said.

Nokia had announced its first two smartphones, the Nokia 6 and the Nokia 8 Sirocco, in late March. They had gone on sale in India from April 25, with the Nokia 6 priced at Rs 9,999 and the Nokia 8 Sirocco priced at Rs 14,999.

According to a report in Business Standard, Nokia will soon begin selling the company’s feature phones in India. “In case of feature phones, we will shift focus to a more efficient business model,” Shashi Tyagi, president, Nokia India said.
