Fractured Fairy Tales

It’s been over a month since I posted. Sorry about that, things are going well. One thing that I’ve been really wanting to do is to start a series for my blog. Since I do a lot of scrapbooking, I want to be able to share some of the pages I create with others. I don’t want to really share all of them, but there are a few to show off. Also, I want to start to take more pictures of my projects since I’m starting to get a little better at scrapbooking.

I’m starting my own little series of “fractured fairy tales.” My imagination has been really running wild lately with all the various stories I’ve been reading. I’ve tried to capture as much of the story as possible on the page, and ended up cutting all the extra stuff out. The pages are very simple, and look really great once you put your own little twist on it. I’ll be starting with a few of the fairy tales I found from wikipedia. All of them are really old fairy tales. One of them is actually a page from a medieval manuscript, and the other two are from a book I have.

PostgreSQL converting timestamp with seconds on millisecond

Here is the problem: the timestamp in database is 2011-10-16 12:15:02.000.
The string is converted to POSIX timestamp with seconds and I want to know if it’s possible to change seconds to millisecond and normalize(?) the date, so I get date as: 2011-10-16 12:15.
If you know how to perform this, please share.
