If you frequently need to type various special characters, you probably waste a lot of time inserting them or switching between languages. Thankfully, third-party applications can help make things a bit easier.
SymWin is a relatively simple program that provides you with a quick way to select and insert various characters. It is not perfect, but it can save you a lot of effort if you regularly type using special characters.
Insert various symbols with a simple hotkey
Once the application is running, you just need to hold Caps Lock and then press any key that has associated characters. You will be able to select the right one from a pop-up, using either the arrow keys or your mouse.
To change the symbol’s case, simply press Shift while holding down Caps Lock. When you release all these keys, the selected character will be inserted.
You can customize the bindings, but not the default hotkey
From the configuration window, you can select any of the available keys and add the characters that should be bound to them. Lowercase and uppercase symbols need to be added separately.
Unfortunately, though, it is not possible to use a different modifier, so you are stuck with Caps Lock. If you don’t often use this key, it should be fine, but many users would likely have preferred a different one.
Unobtrusive and intuitive program that still needs work
It is worth keeping in mind that SymWin is still in the early stages of development, so you can expect to run into the occasional bug. Sadly, it doesn’t seem likely that the application will receive updates in the near future.
In short, this program can prove helpful if you often need to type special characters and find the classic methods to be too cumbersome. It is easy to use, and it can save you a lot of time, but it still needs a few improvements.

About session in security in PHP

I have some questions about session variable and security.
Here are the questions:

I have a class like this:
class myclass{
public $secret_key;
function __construct(){
$this->secret_key = sha1(‘test123’);
}
}

Now, I would like to create a session (this session is a shared key between different server (or the same server with different configurations) and we can access it in different parts of the same webpages.):
session_start();
$_SESSION[‘key’] = ‘test123′;

But I would like to define the scope of this session variable:

when the user read the session variable, the content should be not be displayed, i.e:

if the user is authenticated, the content should not be displayed (user-read-only)
if the user is anonymous, the content should be displayed (user-read-anywhere)

How can I achieve that?
UPDATE
This is because I would like to not have the secret key easily visible.
Thanks

A:

First, you need to protect your secret key as well as what it is used for:
//…
$key =’secret key here’;
if (!isset($_SESSION[‘key’])) {
// session not started, redirect to login page to get a session started
header(‘Location: login.php’);
}
$new_session_key = sha1($key);
$_SESSION[‘key’] = $

Description:
MS Office 2013 lets you view, edit, and create Office documents. The interface is very user friendly and, while there are many great features to help you complete your work, it is also easy to use. Still, however, if you spend a lot of time using Office, you may want to consider installing another alternative application instead. In this article we look at best MS Office alternatives that you can use on Linux, Mac, or Windows.
Zoho Office
Zoho Office is a very powerful alternative to Microsoft Office, and it is actually available for Linux and Windows as well. It provides many of the tools that you will need when you are working on your documents including word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and drawing tools.
Documents you create with Zoho Office can be viewed in the document viewer or downloaded as a pdf file. You can also save in.doc,.ods,.xls, and.xlsx format.
The Zoho Office application is intuitive and very easy to use. In fact, you can create a new document in less than one minute.
Besides using the document viewer, you can open Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents. You can also print your documents. You can also export your documents as.PDFs,.PNGs,.JPGs, and other image formats.
Zoho Office prices start from $10 per month, but it is possible to opt for a free trial which usually lasts for 10 days.
OpenOffice.org
OpenOffice is an open source alternative to Microsoft Office. It is based on Linux, but also available for Windows and Mac. It is much more versatile than Microsoft Office, and it is also very powerful, and comes with some very great features.
You can create or view Office documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. You can also create.odt,.ods,.odp, and.odg files, although these are just a subset of what you can do with a Microsoft Office document.
Unlike Zoho Office, you are not required to pay any subscription fees when using OpenOffice.org.
You can also upload your documents to the online Dropbox service for easy file sharing and collaboration with other users. This is not the case with Zoho Office.
OpenOffice.org
